Crash Cover

Here at Rosebank we go out of our way to keep you as a customer for life, and your safety is our business. As Australia's No.1 designer and local manufacturer of safety helmets, we not only guarantee our quality, we back our helmets with Crash Cover. So, if your Rosebank helmet is substantially damaged in an actual cycling accident, you can apply for a replacement helmet by following these easy steps:

Simply return your damaged helmet to Rosebank accompanied by:

1. Proof of purchase (eg.cash register receipt)
2. Cheque or money order for $5.00 to cover cost of return freight (Do NOT send cash)
3. Include a written detailed description of the accident that caused the damage to your helmet. By examining damaged helmets involved in accidents, we can continually improve the way they work.

NOTE:
General wear and tear, cosmetic/non structural damage or damage caused through other activities such as skating are excluded. Every batch of helmets is tested before they are released into the marketplace.

Testing

Rosebank is also the only helmet manufacturer within Australia to have on-site, it's own in-house N.A.T.A. (National Association of Testing Authorities) certified laboratory.

Ongoing research and development can be conducted on-site, along with strict and rigorous batch testing that often far exceeds industry standards and even the Australian Standard (AS/NZS 2063), which is recognised as being one of the most stringent standards throughout the world.

The testing facility is able to test to Europe's CE Standard, and USA's CPSC Standard.

Quality/Production

Rosebank manufactures under the ISO9002 Quality System disciplines. The general requirements of AS/NZS 2063 (for which Rosebank is officially certified) are automatically controlled by the wider system controls contained in the International Quality System Standard. Through this, Rosebank manufactures under 'worlds best practice' disciplines.

Australian Standards

Australian Standards is the only choice when selecting a helmet.

When it comes to cycling safety, we're committed to helmet safety at Rosebank. That's why we won't compromise when it comes to certification, and we only supply helmets that have the 5 ticks, the sign of certification by SAI Global. The SAI Global Product Compliance Program ensures that every batch of helmets is tested before they are released into the marketplace, unlike most overseas standards.

So you can wear our helmets with confidence and enjoy the ride knowing that we are looking out for you.

Fitting instructions

TO BE EFFECTIVE, A HELMET MUST FIT AND BE WORN CORRECTLY.

1. Choose a helmet size that fits snugly on the head.
2. Slide the side adjustors up or down the straps so that they sit just under each ear.
3. After firmly closing the buckle with a click, adjust the straps so that the buckle is positioned centrally under the jaw.
4. Grasp the helmet and try to rotate it to the front and rear.

A correctly fitted helmet should be comfortable and should not move forward to obscure vision or rearward to expose the forehead.

So you can wear our helmets with confidence and enjoy the ride knowing that we are looking out for you.

Testimonial

Dear Rosebank,

Last Tuesday I was hit by a car while cycling.

Luckily I was wearing a Rosebank Blast helmet when I went flying through the air and managed to find the road head and shoulder first. Unfortunately my shoulder didn't survive that well (it requires a bone graft) but your helmet did a great job of protecting my head as I'm alive and don't have any head injuries.

Obviously the helmet is now due for the scrap bin but what a small price to pay?

I just thought I'd drop you a line thanking you for a wonderful product as my time in hospital may otherwise be far more than what it is going to be.

Thank you again...not only for providing a replacement (under the Rosebank Crash Cover Policy) but also for the original helmet....given my shoulder has 6 months to recover I would have hated to see what injuries I could have sustained without a helmet.
